But just taking my time and whenever theyre ready to put me out there, Ill be ready.Smith, a second-round draft pick out of Ohio State last year, was covering a punt against Tennessee on Dec. 12, 2015, when his right knee gave out. He was carted off the field, and a torn anterior cruciate ligament ended his rookie season.He spent the first six weeks of this season on the PUP list and returned to practice on Oct. 19.
