ETOBICOKE, Ontario -- Danish Dynaformer, the runner-up in last years Queens Plate, gave trainer Roger Attfield a record seventh win in the Grade 3 Singspiel Stakes on the Queens Plate undercard at Woodbine Sunday.The seven-horse field was strung out along the backstretch in the 12-furlong turf marathon, as Money Talker set a lively pace, with 2014 Arlington Million winner Hardest Core stalking in second.The field began to bunch up on the far turn, where Danish Dynaformer rallied three-wide into contention under Patrick Husbands. He caught Hardest Core in mid-stretch, and then edged clear to score by a length, in 2:27.20, which was a hand-clocked corrected final time.Aldous Snow, who won the Singspiel each of the past two years, finished third before surviving an inquiry to remain in that position after bumping with a rival in deep stretch.Since this horse came back to Woodbine this year, Ive gotten on him four or five times, and hes a different horse, Husbands said. Hes more relaxed. Last year at 3, he was more of a kid.Danish Dynaformer returned $5.80 as the favorite, and earned $108,000 of the $171,900 purse for owner-breeder Charles Fipke.
